Mule Reading Files in the Middle of the Flow Using Mule-Requester

ICYMI: Mule supports reading files at the beginning of a flow and we can use the File Connector to do this as well, but this connector is not suitable for loading the content of a file in the middle of a flow. Sometimes, though, you need to read a file during a flow. For example:

* Your flow is triggered by a job scheduler (e.g. Quartz), not a file polling inbound endpoint.
* You have to process files on a strict schedule, not as soon as they arrive.
* You have to read the file name from the DB and then you have to start processing.

* You need to retry file processing from the beginning of the file.

To achieve this goal we need to use the mule-module-requester. This module allows the request of different resources at any point in a flow. https://goo.gl/VxjZW4 #DataIntegration #ML

The Secret to Dominating the Network Economy

ICYDK: These days, every company’s software stack is like a machine with hundreds of parts all hacked together. Each cloud application is just one of those parts, and customers need it to work with every one of the other applications that they already use. So, when new companies enter the market, they usually integrate their app with the other platforms that are most popular with their target customers, making those platforms even more cooperative and thus more successful. This is the Network Economy.

In the network economy, success is exponential. As an app gains more users, it becomes more useful to other potential customers, driving growth. However, companies in the Network Economy can only continue as long as they are able to outperform competitors, sustain new adopters, and retain existing customers. Companies that excel in these areas all have one thing in common, they use The 4 Superheroes of the Network Economy. https://goo.gl/X3buqH #DataIntegration #ML

Eclipse: Still the Best IDE!

As a developer, you’ve probably grown to love using an IDE — but in the modern coding universe of choices, how do you choose the best IDE? While some might try to convince you that the “cool kids” are using IntelliJ, whether you’re looking for your first IDE, or being pressured into switching, here are some reasons to choose Eclipse!

Eclipse: The Best IDE for Millions That Choose It

At Dunebook, Deven Rathore published an article comparing Eclipse with IntelliJ, including some interesting statistics on how the landscape has changed over the past few years. Below, I expand on a few of the reasons why he believes many developers choose Eclipse. https://goo.gl/gaAY48 #DataIntegration #ML

Huawei OTN Fronthaul Solution Passes China Telecom’s 5G Test in an Industry First

Huawei’s Optical Transport Network (OTN) fronthaul solution has passed the initial phase of China Telecom’s 5G fronthaul transport lab test in what is the world’s  first transmission test for 25G eCPRI interfaces. The test presents an industry breakthrough as Huawei’s OTN fronthaul solution delivered transmission latency of less than 1 μs and jitter of less than 1 ns. The Common Public Radio Interface (CPRI) Alliance released its 5G fronthaul eCPRI interface standard in August 2017. http://bit.ly/2ENc2qs #Huawei #BigData #AI
