#ICYDK: Anyone remember using MS-DOS, the operating system (before Windows) created by Microsoft?
Starting with MS-DOS 2, I began to understand the importance of an operating system that provided a command-line interface (CLI) into the connected system. I could use basic commands to organize and create files, configure the disk drives, plus launch programs on the system. Once there was a good understanding of the CLI, navigating around your system became far easier. Microsoft continued enhancing their product with version 3.
