Why Some People Should Be Scared Of Artificial Intelligence

Tech savvy people can’t wait until artificial intelligence takes over. In fact, they’re already putting things in place to ensure they are unaffected by it. If you don’t know anything about the impact it’s going to have you should be scared.

Eventually, it’s going to sweep in and steal your job. A large percentage of jobs will be wiped out in nearly every industry. Do you think you’ll be one of the survivors? Let’s look at a few ways it’s going to leave people jobless.

1. Less People Will End Up In Car Accidents

If you’re involved in a car crash you might need a lawyer to represent you. Less accidents means less clients for lawyers. We’ll see a big change the moment vehicles on the road start communicating with each other.

Lawyers will need to learn how to fight cases when this technology takes over. An employee at mattsharplaw.com said they were working on it. Those who plan ahead will beat out their competition.

2. Letting A Robot Educate Your Children

Would you let a robot educate your children? They’ll be able to analyze the data from tests to address their individual needs. Maybe there isn’t much chance of a robot standing in front of a class any time soon.

It’s still going to revolutionize homeschooling. Also, it’s likely more parents will pull their children out of school. There will be a good percentage willing to give artificial intelligence a chance.

3. You Won’t Have To Speak To Any Doctors

Everyone thought patients would be speaking to doctors on Skype instead of in person. It would help serve more people because appointments would be quicker. Now we know AI is better when it comes to diagnosing problems.

A computer was able to tell a patient they had a rare form of cancer within minutes, but it had left doctors puzzled for months. Robots are taking over surgeries too, so doctors need to choose their area of expertise carefully.

4. Drones Will Soon Take Care Of Security

Even if you have drones keeping an eye on things below you still need pilots. Eventually it will change for a couple of reasons. They’ll be able to fly themselves, which includes knowing when to refuel.

AI will also help them study the behavior of those they’re looking over. When anything suspicious is spotted the relevant people will be notified. It means a lot less humans will need to be involved in the process.

5. Robots Can Assist You Inside Stores

Do you remember when self-service checkouts became popular? If buyers could pay on their own there would be no need for humans. Now robots are actually following customers around inside stores too.

They’ll learn basic things like how to spot shoplifters easily. Let’s hope they can’t stock shelves for a few more decades. In the end, we might only be left with supervisors inside some stores.

It’s Not Too Late To Beat The Machines

Think carefully about all the ways a robot could steal your job in the future. Start specializing in the areas they won’t be able to touch. It’s the easiest way to guarantee you’ll find work when you’re older. http://bit.ly/2BX1NkK #SAP #SAPCloud #AI
