In 2016, Google acquired APIGEE’s API Management solution; last year saw MuleSoft’s spectacular IPO, and now its acquisition by Salesforce.
But Why Acquire an Integration Solution?
Well, because the market is already growing very fast, with cloud integration needs and iPaaS solutions. And, MuleSoft offers one, of course! And, Salesforce obviously has a major interest in Mulesoft’s solution integrating well with its own solution.
